The story behind the Fandango
The Fandango stands out as a bold piece from the 2017 HW Art Cars series. Designed by Phil Riehlman, this model brings high energy to any collection with its striking black body and vibrant graphic details. It is not just another standard release because it holds the special status of a Treasure Hunt rarity. This means fewer cars were produced compared to regular Mainline models, making them much harder to spot on retail shelves today. Fans look for these unique pieces specifically because they are limited edition items that appear randomly in packs.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast casting features a plastic base and comes with bright lime green bumpers that contrast sharply against the main black paint job. The interior is finished in green, while the windows often feature blue or clear tinting depending on the specific pack variation. You will notice pink multi-spoke wheels that complete the sporty aesthetic perfectly. Because it was released as a Treasure Hunt item during its 2017 run under SKU DVD03, this model holds higher desirability among adult collectors and active chasers.
