The story behind the BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM BATMOBILE
The BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM BATMOBILE from 2020 is a standout release for fans of both superheroes and diecast collecting. Designed by Manson Cheung, this model captures the sleek yet rugged look of Gotham City’s most iconic vehicle with its aggressive styling and dark blue paint job. As part of the Mainline series but marked as a Treasure Hunt rarity, it carries special appeal due to limited availability. The small flame logo on the packaging signals that finding one could be challenging for collectors who want this particular version.
Materials, colors and value
This Batmobile features a plastic body painted in deep dark blue with chrome accents throughout the interior and exterior details like headlights and engine grills, giving it extra visual flair even though the main structure is not metal. It comes at standard 1/64 scale, making it easy to display alongside other Hot Wheels cars while still offering enough detail for close-up admiration. While exact market value varies depending on condition and demand, being a Treasure Hunt model gives this car higher collectible status compared to regular releases.
Questions about the BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM BATMOBILE
How rare is the BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM BATMOBILE from 2020?+
It's considered a relatively rare find because it was released as part of Hot Wheels' Treasure Hunt lineup, which means fewer units were produced compared to standard models. Its status makes it more sought after among collectors.
What does the flame logo on this car mean?+
The small red and yellow flame icon indicates that the BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM BATMOBILE is a Treasure Hunt model, meaning it was produced in smaller quantities than regular Hot Wheels cars. This makes spotting one at stores harder.
Is this Batmobile made of metal or plastic?+
Despite having chrome-like detailing inside and out, the main body of the 2020 BATMAN: ARKHAM ASYLUM BATMOBILE is actually crafted from durable plastic. This doesn't take away from its look since it still feels solid and looks great on display.
