The story behind the Dune Daddy
The Dune Daddy made a special appearance in 2020 as part of the Olympic Games Tokyo 2020 series. This model is not just a standard release because it carries the coveted Treasure Hunt designation. These hidden gems are highly sought after by collectors who love hunting for them on store shelves. Designed by Tyler Charest, this car features unique graphics celebrating beach volleyball with official Tokyo branding. Finding one of these pink beauties adds a major highlight to any 2020 collection.
Materials, colors and value
This collectible comes in the classic 1/64 scale and uses plastic for its base material. It stands out immediately due to its bright Pink body paint that matches the Olympic theme perfectly. The car sits on a solid White base with large off-road tires ready for play or display. Clear windows reveal Black interior details inside the cabin. Since it is a limited run Treasure Hunt, this specific pink version holds higher interest and potential value among enthusiasts compared to regular Mainline cars.
