The story behind the Porsche 356 Outlaw
The Porsche 356 Outlaw stands out as a rare gem in any collection due to its Super Treasure Hunt status. Released in 2021 during the HW Speed Graphics series, this model by Mark Jones brings high stakes excitement to standard retail packs. While mainline cars are common finds at local stores, spotting one of these limited editions feels like winning the lottery for enthusiasts. The design features a custom outlaw build with aggressive styling cues that pay homage to classic racing heritage. Its Spectraflame Cyan finish creates a shimmering effect under light that separates it from standard plastic releases. This specific casting is highly sought after because Super Treasure Hunts are produced in much smaller quantities than regular models, making them a priority for serious shoppers.
Materials, colors and value
This model comes in the standard 1/64 scale and features a diecast metal body wrapped in premium Spectraflame paint over a plastic base. The specific color combination includes a striking cyan finish with orange racing stripes and Gulf Oil decals to complete the look. The interior is detailed in black, matching the dark window tint options available for this release. Because Super Treasure Hunt cars are extremely rare compared to standard releases, they tend to hold strong value among dedicated collectors. Finding one still sealed on its original card adds significant appeal to the piece.
