The story behind the '17 Jeep Wrangler
This 17 Jeep Wrangler from 2022 stands out as a special Treasure Hunt release in the Mud Studs series. Designed by Phil Riehlman under SKU HCY03, this model captures the rugged spirit of off-road driving with aggressive styling and bold paintwork. As a Treasure Hunt car, it is much harder to find than standard Mainline models at retail stores. Collectors actively hunt for these because they are limited edition releases marked by a distinct flame logo on the packaging card. The bright orange finish combined with tan tires gives this 1/64 scale vehicle an eye-catching appearance that fits perfectly into any off-road themed collection.
Materials, colors and value
The model features a plastic body constructed in a vibrant shade of Orange. It includes smoked tinted windows and detailed black interior elements visible through the glass. The base is molded from Black plastic, which contrasts sharply with the bright exterior paint job. This specific iteration belongs to the Mud Studs series known for large rubber tires suited for rough terrain playsets. Due to its status as a limited Treasure Hunt release, this car generally holds more value than regular 2022 Mainline items found in basic packs.
