The story behind the '98 SUBARU IMPREZA 22B-STI VERSION
The '98 Subaru Impreza 22B-STI Version from the 2022 Mainline series is a standout model for collectors who love rally racing history. As part of the Rally Champs collection, this specific release holds special status because it was produced as a Treasure Hunt. These limited-edition inserts are harder to find in standard retail packs and carry more prestige among fans. Designed by Ryu Asada under SKU HCY04, this white diecast car captures the aggressive styling of one of Subaru's most legendary rally machines. The model features detailed decals that honor its racing heritage while fitting perfectly into a modern 1/64 scale display case.
Materials, colors and value
This miniature vehicle is constructed primarily with plastic materials and sits on black bases to match the interior color scheme. The exterior is finished in a clean white body paint, which contrasts nicely with the vibrant pink and teal rally graphics found along the sides. Window treatments vary between smoke tinted or gray options depending on production runs. Because this car belongs to the coveted Treasure Hunt category within the regular Mainline assortment, it generally holds higher value than standard models. Its rarity makes finding a pristine copy particularly satisfying for dedicated Hot Wheels hobbyists.
Questions about the '98 SUBARU IMPREZA 22B-STI VERSION
How do I identify if my Subaru Impreza is a rare Treasure Hunt?+
