The story behind the Arkham Asylum Batmobile
The Arkham Asylum Batmobile brings a dark chapter of Gotham City history into your collection with its sleek, menacing design. Released in 2024 as part of the Batman 5-Pack series, this Hot Wheels car captures the unique aesthetic of the vehicle used by Bruce Wayne while he was imprisoned at Arkham Asylum. Designed by Manson Cheung under SKU HTV44, it features sharp angles and a low profile that distinguish it from traditional Batmobiles. This model is not a rare Treasure Hunt but rather an accessible addition found in multi-car packs. It appeals to fans who appreciate the gritty tone of modern Batman stories.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast replica is built primarily with plastic materials at a standard 1/64 scale, making it durable for play or display. The color scheme is strictly monochromatic, featuring a glossy black body contrasted against gray details on the side panels and interior components. Dark opaque windows complete the sinister look without revealing too much inside the cockpit. Because it comes in widely distributed 5-Packs, this car tends to hold modest value compared to limited edition releases. Collectors often seek these packs for their variety rather than individual rarity.
