The story behind the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla
The Toyota GR Corolla hits the streets in a bright yellow livery for Hot Wheels Car Culture collectors. Released in 2024 as part of the Slide Street assortment, this model captures the high-performance spirit of modern street racing culture. Designed by Mark Jones and carrying SKU HKC82, it features detailed decals including Rain-X branding along the sides. The car sits on crisp white wheels that contrast sharply with its vibrant paint job. As a Car Culture release, it targets adult fans who appreciate accurate details and niche automotive themes over standard play patterns.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast model is built at the classic 1/64 scale used for most Hot Wheels vehicles. The body material is metal, providing durability while keeping the weight light enough for shelf display. It comes in a striking yellow color scheme with clear window pieces and black interior accents visible through the glass. The base of the car is finished in solid black plastic to complement the white wheels. Collectors looking for this specific item should search by its official name or SKU HKC82.
Questions about the 2023 Toyota GR Corolla
How do I identify the real 2023 Toyota GR Corolla Hot Wheels?+
You can verify authenticity by checking for the yellow body and white wheels. The car has specific sponsor stickers on the side panels and a black undercarriage base. Look for the designer credit to Mark Jones listed in catalog data or packaging information.
Is this Hot Wheels model considered rare?+
While not an official Treasure Hunt, Car Culture series cars are often produced in smaller runs than mass-market models. They appeal specifically to adult collectors and may be harder to find once they sell out at local hobby shops.
What is the market value of this car?+
Prices vary based on condition and packaging availability. Loose copies often trade for reasonable prices among casual fans, but sealed blister cards usually hold more value because collectors prefer keeping them mint in box for long-term display.
