The story behind the Fleet Street
The Fleet Street model brings a unique twist to the Hot Wheels lineup by focusing on commercial vehicles rather than sports cars. Released in 2024 as part of the Premium Collector Set GReddy collection, this flatbed truck captures the essence of Japanese import car culture with its distinct styling cues. Designed by Mark Jones, it features crisp white paint accented with teal and yellow graphics that pay homage to performance brands popular among enthusiasts. Unlike standard mainline releases found in blind bags at grocery stores, Car Culture sets are curated specifically for adult collectors who appreciate automotive history beyond the usual dragsters and muscle cars. This specific iteration showcases clean lines and realistic details suitable for display on shelves alongside other premium diecast models.
Materials, colors and value
Built with a solid metal base, this 1/64 scale replica offers excellent durability while maintaining lightweight handling typical of high-end collector items. The body is painted primarily in white, providing a neutral canvas that highlights the teal and blue side decals along the cab and flatbed area. Various window tints ranging from gray to smoke give each unit slight visual differences depending on lighting conditions shown across different units. Collectors often seek these premium releases because they offer higher production quality compared to entry-level toys. The black interior matches well with the overall scheme, while bronze wheels add an extra touch of class not seen in cheaper alternatives.
