The story behind the Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R LBWK
The Nissan Skyline 2000GT-R LBWK from 2024 brings a unique piece of Japanese tuning culture directly into your collection. This model is part of the Car Culture series, which focuses on smaller themed sets aimed at adult enthusiasts rather than casual play. The design features the iconic wide-body kit by Liberty Walk, adding aggressive fender flares to this classic coupe shape. Designer Ryu Asada captured the raw aesthetic with a metal body that stands out in shades like blue and sky blue. It fits perfectly into the Team Transport Mix 3 group released that year. For collectors who appreciate modified street machines, this die-cast model offers high detail and authentic styling cues found on real-life tuner cars.
Materials, colors and value
Built at a standard 1/64 scale, this Hot Wheels car uses a metal base material for durability and weight. The exterior finishes vary across the set but often feature vibrant hues such as light blue or sky blue paired with black bases. Inside, you will find a detailed black interior visible through windows that range from clear smoke to tinted gray glass. Because Car Culture releases are produced in lower quantities than standard mainline models, they hold significant appeal for dedicated fans of Japanese automotive history and tuning styles alike.
