The story behind the Nissan Skyline GT-R (R32) Pandem
The Nissan Skyline GT-R R32 Pandem represents a perfect fusion of Japanese street culture and Hot Wheels creativity. Released in 2024 as part of the Car Culture Modern Classics series, this model captures the aggressive styling associated with wide-body kits designed by Pandem. The design work is credited to Rob Matthes under SKU HRV68. This specific release highlights the raw aesthetic often seen at local car meets and drift events rather than polished showroom looks. The white paint scheme features prominent red Hot Wheels graphics alongside authentic sponsor decals like Rocket Bunny Racing. It sits firmly in the Car Culture assortment, which focuses on niche automotive trends that appeal to dedicated enthusiasts. Collectors appreciate how this 1/64 scale model translates a legendary vehicle into an accessible miniature while maintaining its distinct street racing identity.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast car features a solid metal base providing excellent durability for long-term collection or casual play. The exterior is finished in bright white paint that serves as a clean canvas for the detailed graphics and decals found across the hood, doors, and rear bumper. You will notice distinct black accents on the interior cabin components along with smoke tinted windows that add depth to the overall visual presentation. The wheels are gold colored five-spoke designs which contrast sharply against the white bodywork. As a standard 1/64 scale model it fits perfectly into existing display shelves or track setups without requiring special housing accommodations due to its compact size.
