The story behind the Porsche 935
The Porsche 935 represents one of the most iconic racing machines ever built by Stuttgart. Hot Wheels brought this legendary silhouette back in 2024 as part of a special celebration series dedicated entirely to Porsche designs. Unlike standard releases, models from these Celebration sets often feature unique colorways or specific race liveries that pay homage to the brand's history on the track. This particular casting captures the aggressive aerodynamics and wide stance that made the real car so dominant in endurance racing during its prime. It serves as a fantastic tribute for fans of classic motorsport engineering.
Materials, colors and value
This specific example features a striking blue body, likely representing either a solid or metalflake finish based on available variations. The design includes detailed race graphics with sponsor logos visible near the rear wheel arches. Inside, you will find black interior details that contrast nicely against the bright exterior paint job. The base is also painted in matching black to keep the focus squarely on the car itself rather than distracting packaging elements. As a plastic diecast model at 1/64 scale, it offers great durability while maintaining enough detail for serious display purposes.
