The story behind the Optimus Prime
The Optimus Prime diecast model captures the spirit of the famous Transformers leader in a striking metallic finish. Released in 2024 as part of the Mattel Creations Collaboratory, this collaboration series brings together pop culture icons and high-quality Hot Wheels craftsmanship. The car features a detailed design with red body panels, blue bases, and Spectraflame accents that shine under light. Designed by Manson Cheung, it appeals to both fans of the franchise and collectors looking for unique pieces. While not classified as Treasure Hunt or Chase rarity, its limited nature within special collections makes it highly sought after.
