The story behind the ROYAL NABOO STARSHIP
The Royal Naboo Starship model from 2024 brings a touch of galactic elegance to your Hot Wheels collection. As part of the San Diego Comic-Con Exclusives series, this diecast piece captures the iconic design seen in Star Wars films with meticulous detail. Designed by Chris Colangelo and bearing SKU JBG50, it is not available through regular retail channels. Instead, collectors had to secure their copy at the exclusive convention event or later on secondary markets. The sleek silver body mirrors the original spacecraft’s smooth lines, while variations like Chrome ZAMAC bases add subtle differences that enthusiasts appreciate. Though no longer produced as a standard release, its limited availability makes it highly desirable among fans of both Hot Wheels and Star Wars memorabilia.
Materials, colors and value
This model features a metal base with options including Silver, Chrome, Unpainted, VUM (Vibrant Unique Metallic), and ZAMAC finishes. Each version offers slight visual distinctions that collectors may seek depending on preference or rarity perception. Measuring in at the standard 1/64 scale, it fits seamlessly alongside other Hot Wheels vehicles while standing out due to its unique theme and limited production run. While exact values depend on condition and variant, convention exclusives like this one often hold steady interest among dedicated collectors looking for themed pieces.
