The story behind the Baja Truck
The Baja Truck brings serious off-road energy to your collection with its aggressive stance and rugged design. Released in 2024 as part of the Hot Wheels Let's Race series, this model captures the spirit of desert racing perfectly. It features a bold blue body that can appear dark depending on the light, paired with striking yellow interior accents that add visual contrast. Designed by Ryu Asada, it has an open cockpit style and oversized tires meant for rough terrain play. Since it belongs to the standard Mainline assortment, this 1/64 scale vehicle is widely available at retail stores worldwide rather than being a limited edition drop.
Materials, colors and value
Constructed primarily from durable plastic materials typical of core Hot Wheels releases, this Baja Truck offers great durability for both display and active play. The exterior features distinct Blue or Dark Blue paint finishes depending on the specific casting run. Inside, you will find bright Yellow seating areas that pop against the darker body color. It rides on a sturdy Black base designed to support its large off-road wheels. Because it is part of the common Mainline series rather than an exclusive release, individual models are generally affordable and easy to locate in hobby shops or online marketplaces.
