The story behind the Hiway Hauler
The Hiway Hauler released in 2024 brings a unique twist to music memorabilia by turning concert tickets into truck art. This model comes from the Pop Culture assortment, which often features themes based on movies or bands. Larry Wood designed this specific vehicle for Mix 4 of that series. The most eye-catching detail is the side graphic that replicates a vintage ticket for a Beatles performance at Empire Stadium in Vancouver. It captures a moment in music history with a playful twist. Collectors who enjoy blending classic rock themes with transport vehicles will likely appreciate this release as it stands out from standard car designs.
Materials, colors and value
This 1/64 scale model features a sturdy metal base that gives the vehicle substance and weight on any shelf. The body paint is primarily a soft mint green tone, which provides an excellent background for the vintage concert ticket graphics printed along the side. Some versions may feature ZAMAC or unpainted bases depending on the specific manufacturing run details provided in our database. It comes with opaque black windows that hide out any interior details while keeping focus on the exterior artwork. Being part of a themed Pop Culture set, it is generally common enough to find in stores but still holds strong appeal for fans looking to round out their collection.
