The story behind the 2022 DELOREAN ALPHA5
The Delorean Alpha5 brings a futuristic edge to the Fast & Furious diecast lineup in its 2025 release. The Alpha5 is known for its smooth, aerodynamic curves and distinctive lack of a traditional front grille, giving it an advanced electric look that stands out on any shelf. By featuring this model, Hot Wheels taps into fans who love both classic Delorean heritage and modern sci-fi design elements found in popular action films.
Materials, colors and value
This miniature car measures exactly at the standard 1/64 scale for easy display alongside other mainline collections. It features a shiny silver body made from durable plastic rather than metal, paired with clear windows that show off detailed black interior components. The base is also finished in solid black to create a sharp visual contrast against the metallic exterior paint job. Since it comes as part of regular entertainment assortments and does not have special rarity markers like Treasure Hunts or Chases do today yet, this piece serves well for budget-friendly building complete themed sets without breaking expensive price tags usually seen with limited edition variants.
