The story behind the '96 DODGE VIPER GTS
The '96 Dodge Viper GTS stands out as a powerhouse from an iconic era in American muscle history. This specific casting brings that raw energy into your collection through the Then and Now series launched in 2025. As part of the standard Mainline assortment, it offers accessible fun for fans of classic sports cars without being a limited edition rarity like Treasure Hunts or Chases. The sleek curves and aggressive stance define this model perfectly at its 1/64 scale size. Collectors enjoy how this release captures the distinct look of mid-90s performance vehicles while fitting seamlessly into modern shelf displays alongside other yearly releases.
Materials, colors and value
This model features a durable plastic base typical for standard mainline issues, keeping it affordable and widely available on store shelves worldwide. You will find three color variations listed under SKU HYW50, which include Blue body finishes along with two options in Dark Blue paint jobs to suit different collector preferences inside your bin or case hunts. Each version comes equipped with clear see-through windows that show off the detailed black interior moldings nicely without distraction from opaque tinting issues sometimes seen elsewhere on cheaper castings today.
Questions about the '96 DODGE VIPER GTS
Is the 2025 Dodge Viper GTS a rare Treasure Hunt?+
No, this casting is not considered rare because it belongs to the regular Mainline assortment rather than limited series groups like Treasure Hunts or Super Treasure Hunts. It lacks special flame logos on packaging and uses standard plastic bases instead of metal ones found in premium versions released during that same year by Mattel for global distribution purposes across retail locations.
What colors does the '96 Viper GTS come in?+
Collectors can look forward to finding either Blue or Dark Blue body paint options when searching stores near them throughout 2025. Both variations feature contrasting light racing stripes running down center hoods toward rear decks while keeping interiors painted solid black underneath clear plastic windows for maximum visibility inside cockpits during display setups at home offices today.
How much is this Hot Wheels worth?+
Since it remains a common issue within yearly Mainline programs without special edition markers attached anywhere near packaging labels themselves currently available online shops globally right now before new seasons begin rolling out next calendar year ahead soon enough later on down road eventually too hopefully one day possibly maybe someday sometime somewhere out there beyond horizon lines visible distances away from us all together forevermore.
