The story behind the NISSAN SKYLINE 2000GT-R LBWK
The NISSAN SKYLINE 2000GT-R LBWK brings a serious widebody aesthetic to your display shelf as part of the HW J-IMPORT series released in 2025. This model captures the aggressive stance that Liberty Walk custom cars are famous for, featuring flared fenders and distinct styling cues found on real modified vehicles. It belongs to the Mainline assortment which forms the core retail offering for collectors every year. Unlike special limited runs this is a standard production release meaning it should be easier to track down at local toy stores or online retailers throughout its run.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast replica measures in at 1/64 scale and features an all-plastic construction that keeps the manufacturing cost lower than metal premium models. The finish presents as a vibrant blue body with clear see-through windows revealing black interior details for added realism. Collectors will notice gold striping accents on the side panels which tie into the matching gold center caps on the wheels. Because it is made of plastic and sits within the regular Mainline category its monetary value typically stays near retail price unless you find a mint sealed card that remains unopened.
Questions about the NISSAN SKYLINE 2000GT-R LBWK
Is this specific Nissan Skyline model hard to find?+
This release is part of the standard Mainline assortment rather than a rare Treasure Hunt or limited chase variant. Since it rolls out as a regular production item you will generally have no trouble locating it in store aisles and hobby shops while stocks last for that specific season.
What material is used to make this car body?+
The vehicle features an all-plastic base rather than the heavier metal bodies seen on some premium collectibles. This lighter construction helps keep retail prices affordable while still providing a solid enough structure for casual playing or adding neatly into large mainline display collections without weighing down cases.
How can I identify this particular HW J-IMPORT model?+
Look closely at the SKU code printed on the packaging card which will read HYX54. The visual styling matches a widebody Liberty Walk build with flared wheel arches and gold graphics running along the side panels paired strictly against that metallic blue paint job.
