The story behind the MAZDA MX-5 MIATA
The Mazda MX-5 Miata is a legend in the sports car world for its lightweight design and fun driving feel. In 2025, Hot Wheels took that spirit to new heights with this Mainline release from the HW Dream Garage series. This model features an aggressive off-road look complete with wide fender flares, a large rear spoiler, and rugged black bumpers. The bright green body stands out against the dark interior details and clear windows. It captures the imagination by blending road car agility with rally-ready toughness. Collectors looking for unique styling will appreciate how this casting transforms a classic convertible into a durable adventure machine without losing its recognizable shape.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast model features a plastic body painted in a striking bright green finish. The design includes black accents on the hood, roof, and heavy-duty wheel arches to emphasize the rugged theme. It sits at a standard 1/64 scale which fits easily into any display case or collection shelf. Inside you will find dark grey interior parts visible through clear windows. While most Mainline cars have modest resale value today due to their high availability, this specific HW Dream Garage casting holds appeal for fans of the Mazda brand and rally-style vehicles alike.
