The story behind the DRAFTNATOR

The DRAFTNATOR arrives in 2025 as a standout member of the X-Raycers series within the Hot Wheels Mainline collection. Designed by Ryu Asada, this model takes a classic pickup silhouette and gives it a modern racing twist. It features a translucent yellow body that lets light shine through to reveal detailed silver chrome interior components. The clear windows and open cab design highlight the driver inside. Bold graphics adorn the sides of the truck bed and doors, adding visual energy to its shape. Black accents on the base contrast sharply with the bright paint job. This car captures the spirit of modern diecast play by combining transparency with vibrant color.

Materials, colors and value

This vehicle is constructed from plastic in a standard 1/64 scale size suitable for display shelves and track sets alike. The exterior showcases a translucent yellow finish paired with clear see-through windows that frame a silver chrome interior structure. A black base supports the model while providing stability during handling or play sessions. Collectors often value X-Raycers releases because of their unique visual style compared to opaque counterparts in regular Mainline assortments. Its distinctive look makes it an attractive addition for fans seeking variety within core retail lines.
