The story behind the '87 Audi quattro
This '87 Audi quattro from the 2025 Factory Fresh series stands out as a Super Treasure Hunt model. The real Audi quattro changed rally racing history with its four-wheel drive system, and this diecast version captures that iconic look perfectly. As part of the Mainline assortment but classified as a Super Treasure Hunt, it is much harder to find than standard cars in packs or singles. This specific release features a highly reflective Spectraflame Aqua Green finish that glimmers under light. It includes special TH branding on the side and white wheels with black tires. Collectors often hunt for these because they are produced in limited quantities compared to regular Mainline releases.
Materials, colors and value
The model is built at a standard scale of 1/64, making it perfect for display shelves or racing tracks alongside other Hot Wheels cars. The body material listed as plastic allows the special Spectraflame paint job to shine with extra depth and metallic texture. You will notice clear see-through windows paired with an all-black interior and base plate. This combination of Aqua Green color and unique TH graphics makes it highly desirable among enthusiasts who track down rare finds within normal retail boxes.
Questions about the '87 Audi quattro
How do you spot a Super Treasure Hunt in a regular pack?+
Super Treasure Hunts are mixed into standard Mainline packs at low rates. Look for the distinct Spectraflame paint that shines differently than normal coatings. Also check for special wheel designs and TH logos on the car or base, which mark it as a premium variant hidden among common releases.
Is this Audi quattro considered rare?+
Yes, Super Treasure Hunt models are significantly rarer than standard Mainline cars. They appear far less frequently in blind bags and cases sold at stores. The combination of limited production numbers and high demand among collectors usually makes these specific versions harder to acquire over time.
What is the value of this 2025 Audi quattro?+
Prices vary widely based on market conditions, but Super Treasure Hunts often command higher resale values than regular cars due to their scarcity. Mint condition examples with original packaging typically fetch better prices from collectors looking for complete assortments or specific color variants like the Spectraflame Aqua Green.
