The story behind the 2020 Jeep Gladiator
The 2025 Hot Wheels Super Treasure Hunt release of the 2020 Jeep Gladiator stands out as one of the most sought-after finds for collectors this year. Part of the HW DIRT series, this special edition model is built to handle rough terrain right off the track. What truly separates it from standard Mainline releases is its rare Spectraflame black finish. This unique paint job features a distinct metallic flake that catches light differently than regular matte or gloss finishes found on typical trucks. With its bold orange base and aggressive styling, this Super Treasure Hunt edition represents the peak of rarity in the annual release lineup.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast model captures the rugged spirit of modern off-roading with impressive detail at a standard 1/64 scale. The body is finished in a shimmering Spectraflame black that contrasts sharply against the bright orange plastic base and suspension components. Decals highlight sponsor logos like Rigid and Nitto, adding authenticity to the racing theme. While most Hot Wheels are made of metal bodies on this chassis, check your specific unit as materials can vary slightly within assortments. The clear see-through windows offer a view into the black interior details.
Questions about the 2020 Jeep Gladiator
How do I know if my Jeep Gladiator is a Super Treasure Hunt?+
You can identify this specific car by looking for the Spectraflame paint finish. Unlike standard glossy or matte paints, the body will have visible metallic flakes that shimmer when you move it under light. It also features distinctive graphics and wheel designs exclusive to the HW DIRT series Super Treasure Hunt releases.
What is the resale value of a 2025 Hot Wheels Super Treasure Hunt?+
Super Treasure Hunts are extremely limited production runs compared to regular cars. Because they are hard to find in stores, their market value usually rises significantly over time. Collectors often pay premiums for sealed boxes or loose examples that show off the rare Spectraflame finish and specific orange base combination.
How common is this HW DIRT series Jeep Gladiator?+
This model is exceptionally rare within the Mainline assortment. Super Treasure Hunts appear in very small quantities at retail locations, making them much harder to locate than standard releases or even regular Treasure Hunt models with flame logos.
