The story behind the Ferrari 499P Modificata
The Ferrari 499P Modificata captures a high-performance vision from 2025 that blends racing heritage with futuristic design elements. This model belongs to the Mattel Creations Collaboratory Releases, which are exclusive Special Release items often made for online auctions or fan events rather than standard retail shelves. The sleek red body features distinct white and green racing stripes along the sides and hood, highlighting its track-ready aesthetic. With a prominent number 24 decal on the front nose, this diecast car stands out as an aggressive prototype style racer. Collectors who appreciate unique Ferrari liveries will find this specific release especially appealing because of its limited availability through special channels.
Materials, colors and value
Crafted with a metal base and detailed plastic components, this 1/64 scale model offers impressive visual depth. The primary finish is a bright red metallic body that reflects light sharply across the aerodynamic curves. Clear windows provide visibility into the black interior cockpit area where driver details are molded in fine resolution. White graphics run through the center of the car while green accents add contrast near the wheel arches and side panels. Black elements frame the lower chassis sections including front splitters, rear diffusers, and multi-spoke wheels to ground the design visually.
Questions about the Ferrari 499P Modificata
Is Ferrari 499P Modificata considered rare?+
This specific model was released as part of a Special Release event under Mattel Creations Collaboratory Releases. These types are generally more limited than standard mainline models since they do not appear in regular toy stores or mass retail locations, making them harder to find for casual collectors who prefer everyday shopping options.
What does the SKU JCP65 mean?+
The code JCP65 serves as a unique identifier used by Mattel and Hot Wheels to track this particular diecast release internally. Each individual car produced during that specific run shares this exact same serial number which helps enthusiasts organize their collections digitally or physically without confusion between similar looking vehicles.
How can I tell if it is genuine?+
Authenticity relies primarily on checking the base material quality and color accuracy against known official images. The metal construction should feel solid yet lightweight appropriate for 1/64 scale models while paint applications remain crisp without bleeding outside designated lines around windows or decals.
