The story behind the 1985 Honda CR-X
The 1985 Honda CR-X joins Hot Wheels in a special 2025 release that bridges two iconic worlds of pop culture. As part of the Peanuts 75 Years series, this diecast model combines classic sports car styling with beloved comic strip charm. The blue body is decorated with yellow accents and clear illustrations featuring Snoopy and Woodstock along the side panels. This themed entertainment release captures a nostalgic moment by merging vintage automotive design with cartoon history. Collectors enjoy these crossovers for their unique artwork and playful spirit. The 1/64 scale model fits perfectly on any shelf while bringing energy to both car enthusiasts and fans of Peanuts memorabilia alike.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast casting uses a plastic body painted in vibrant blue with yellow window tints and black base trim. The interior is detailed in matching black tones, creating contrast against the bright exterior graphics. Yellow wheel rings match the side decals perfectly, tying together the overall color scheme designed for visual impact at small scale sizes like 1/64. While not produced as a limited edition Treasure Hunt or Super Treasure Hunt item, themed entertainment releases such as this one often appeal strongly to collectors who seek out crossover designs combining vehicles with popular media franchises.
