The story behind the '83 Chevy Silverado
This '83 Chevy Silverado from 2025 is a special piece made for collectors who love big trucks with classic style. It comes as part of the Mattel 80th Anniversary Themed 8-Pack, meaning it celebrates eight decades of Hot Wheels history. The bright red body stands out right away, especially when you notice the large white logo and flame graphic on the side door. That bold decal adds a fun, celebratory touch that ties directly into the anniversary theme. Since this model appears in themed multi-packs rather than standard single packs, it offers great variety for fans who want to grab several cars at once. The plated base gives it an extra shine, while the black interior keeps things grounded and realistic.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast truck features a solid metal body that feels sturdy in your hands. It is painted red with clear see-through windows so you can look inside at the detailed black seats and dashboard area. The wheels are plated to match the base material, giving the whole vehicle a shiny finish from every angle. At 1/64 scale, it fits perfectly on shelves or race tracks alongside other standard size models. Because these cars come in sets of eight, they often become popular among people who like complete collections.
