The story behind the NISSAN FAIRLADY Z
The Nissan Fairlady Z from Mystery Models Series 1 in 2026 brings a touch of excitement to your collection with its unique blind bag release format. This model celebrates the iconic Japanese sports car that has earned respect on both streets and racetracks for decades. Designed by Jun Imai under SKU JKC22, this diecast replica captures the aggressive styling and wide fender flares that define the Fairlady Z racing heritage. The Mystery Models assortment adds an element of surprise since you never know which car or color variation will appear in your pack until you open it. This makes finding specific variants like this dark green version a fun challenge for dedicated collectors who enjoy hunting down complete series.
Materials, colors and value
This 1/64 scale diecast model features a metalflake Dark Green body with tinted windows and a detailed black interior visible through the glass. The base is finished in solid black to match the aggressive racing theme. The car displays distinctive gold and light blue rally stripes along with number 2 roundel decals on the doors that add authentic motorsport character. Metalflake finishes like this one catch the light beautifully and give each model a unique sparkle compared to standard solid colors. While Mystery Models typically hold moderate value due to their widespread availability, rare color combinations or highly sought after designs can become more valuable over time as collectors build complete sets.
Questions about the NISSAN FAIRLADY Z
How do I know which Nissan Fairlady Z variant is in my Mystery Model pack+
You cannot identify the exact car inside a sealed Mystery Models package before opening it since these are designed as surprise blind bag releases. Each Series 1 pack from 2026 contains one random model selected from the available lineup that season. Collectors often buy multiple packs to increase their chances of finding specific cars or complete entire collections through trading with other hobbyists online.
Is this Metalflake Dark Green Nissan Fairlady Z a rare collectible+
The metalflake finish on this 2026 release makes it more special than standard painted models but Mystery Models generally produce in larger quantities so individual variants are not extremely limited. The dark green color with racing livery is visually striking and appeals to fans of classic Japanese sports cars. Value depends mostly on demand from collectors who want complete series sets rather than scarcity alone.
What should I look for when buying this diecast model+
Check the condition of the metalflake paint since these finishes can show scratches more easily than solid colors. Verify that all decals including the number 2 roundel and stripe details are properly aligned without bubbles or peeling edges. Inspect the wheels to ensure they spin freely on axles for play value and look carefully at windows for any cracks. The SKU JKC22 helps confirm authenticity when purchasing from secondary markets.
