The story behind the 1999 Subaru Impreza
The Subaru Impreza is a legendary name in street racing culture, especially among fans of The Fast And Furious franchise. This specific model arrives as part of the 2026 Fast And Furious Dream Lineup series. Designer Eric Han captured the aggressive stance and iconic hatchback shape that made this car famous on screen. It features a bold red body with smoke tinted windows to match its movie origins perfectly. While Mainline releases come in massive quantities, Pop Culture themes like this one often carry special appeal for fans who want accurate tributes to their favorite films. This casting brings the raw energy of early 2000s racing scenes right into your collection without needing any complex background knowledge.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast replica sits at a standard 1/64 scale, making it easy to display alongside other models from similar eras. The body is made entirely of plastic rather than metal, which keeps the weight light and durable for everyday play or storage. You can find this car in bright red with black accents on the base and interior details. Some versions may show dark red tones depending on lighting conditions during production runs. Smoke gray windows add contrast against the vibrant exterior paint job. Collectors typically value these pieces based on condition since plastic models are quite common today but still hold sentimental worth for movie enthusiasts.
Questions about the 1999 Subaru Impreza
Is this Subaru Impreza rare or hard to find?+
No, it is not considered a limited edition item. It belongs to the standard Pop Culture assortment rather than being marked as a Treasure Hunt chase variant. You should expect decent availability across major retailers throughout its release window in 2026.
What materials are used for this car model?+
The entire casting uses plastic components instead of traditional diecast metal bodies. This includes the main shell, wheel rims, and interior parts. The wheels themselves have rubber tires attached directly to those plastic hubs.
How do I identify if this is an authentic Hot Wheels product?+
Look for the official logo printed clearly on either side of the black base plate near the rear axle area. Authentic items will also list SKU code JKX10 somewhere along with designer credit Eric Han.
