The story behind the FIAT 500e
The FIAT 500e brings a fresh modern look to Hot Wheels history by celebrating a major brand milestone in 2026. Part of the special Anniversary collection and specifically placed inside the Blue and Gold Mix, this model stands out for its celebratory color scheme that matches the event theme perfectly. Designer Phil Riehlman crafted this release with a distinct Metalflake Cerulean body finish that catches the light beautifully on store shelves or display cases. It sits alongside other special releases to mark the occasion rather than following standard retail patterns, making it an interesting addition for those who follow annual themes closely.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast model captures electric city car style in a compact size at a scale of 1/64. The body features a vibrant Metalflake Cerulean blue paint job that provides depth and shine while highlighting the sleek lines of the original vehicle design underneath. Bright gold detailing on the wheels matches perfectly with the front grille accents to create strong visual contrast against the dark black interior trim shown through windows.
Questions about the FIAT 500e
What does SKU JKX91 mean for collectors?+
The code JKX91 serves as a unique identifier used by Mattel and retailers to track inventory levels and distribution patterns across different regions worldwide. It helps shops order stock efficiently but means nothing special regarding rarity or value unless paired with limited production runs.
Is the Anniversary assortment harder to find?+
Anniversary collections usually feature smaller overall print runs compared to standard Mainline cars since they are produced specifically for a commemorative purpose rather than constant retail replenishment. This often makes finding complete sets from these releases slightly more challenging over time.
How does the blue color look in person?+
The Metalflake Cerulean finish gives this car a rich deep blue appearance that sparkles subtly under direct lighting thanks to embedded metallic particles. It provides excellent coverage and looks very premium compared to solid flat paint colors typically seen on base models.
