The story behind the OPTIMUS PRIME

The Optimus Prime model arriving in 2026 brings a classic Transformers look back to shelves as part of the HW Screen Time series. This release fits into the core Mainline assortment, meaning it is widely available at retail stores rather than being a rare chase variant or Treasure Hunt. Designer Manson Cheung crafted this specific diecast version with SKU JJJ00 to capture the iconic leader of the Autobots in his signature truck form. Fans can expect bold colors and clear detailing that pays homage to the original animated series aesthetic.

Materials, colors and value

This 1/64 scale model is built primarily from plastic materials, making it a lightweight addition for play or display purposes. The design features a striking red body with distinct silver stripes running along the cab section. A blue chassis forms the rear of the truck and matches the interior details visible through the windows. It sits on chrome finish wheels that complement the metallic look of the base material.

Questions about the OPTIMUS PRIME

Is this Optimus Prime car a Treasure Hunt or Mainline?+

This model is released as part of the standard Mainline assortment, which means it does not carry the special flame logo found on limited edition releases. You can find these trucks in regular retail packs at major toy stores without needing to hunt for them.

What colors are used on this Optimus Prime diecast?+

The truck features a classic color scheme with a red body and silver accents running horizontally across the cab. The chassis is painted blue, which matches the interior details you can see through the windows.

Will this model hold its value over time?+

Since it is produced as part of the general Mainline series rather than a limited run variant like Super Treasure Hunt or Chase, these cars are generally not considered high-value investments. They remain affordable for everyday collectors.
