The story behind the HAULERBACK
The Haulerback brings rugged towing vibes to your collection as a Mainline release for 2026. Designed by Dwayne Vance, this unique model belongs to the HW Heavyweights series that highlights large and powerful vehicles on a tiny scale. The car features an open-cockpit style with no rear wheels attached directly under the body, giving it a distinctive lowrider or hot rod aesthetic despite being named after heavy hauling duties. Its bright blue exterior stands out immediately against standard toy packaging displays. Collectors appreciate how this design merges work truck functionality with street racing attitude in one compact package.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast model features a solid metal base that gives it the satisfying weight expected from Hot Wheels products. The body is finished in a vibrant blue color, while the interior cabin uses silver and chromed plastic details to simulate a metallic finish. Some variations might have satin or black bases depending on specific manufacturing batches noted by SKU JJJ04. At 1/64 scale, it fits perfectly alongside standard castings but looks larger due to its stretched proportions. For general Mainline items like this one, value remains steady among casual shoppers unless special variants appear later down the line.
