The story behind the THE DARK KNIGHT BATMOBILE
The Dark Knight Batmobile returns in a striking new look for the 2026 Mainline series. This release captures the aggressive and armored style of the vehicle from the movie, bringing that cinematic intensity to your track or shelf. Designer Phil Riehlman brought this iconic silhouette back as part of the Batman themed lineup. The car features a unique Matte Gold finish on the body which gives it a distinct military-style aesthetic compared to standard glossy releases. The silver interior and black base add contrast to the overall design. As a Mainline model, this is widely available for collectors who want to complete their set or just enjoy owning one of Batman's most famous rides.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast model captures the rugged look of the Tumbler with specific paint treatments that stand out on display. The body comes in Gold and Matte Gold variations while some versions feature a silver interior or metalflake details inside the cockpit area. It sits securely on solid black wheels which match the dark theme perfectly. Being 1/64 scale means it fits easily into standard storage cases like hobby boxes. For collectors, finding the specific color mix you want might require shopping around since Mainline cars come in multiple paint jobs.
