The story behind the '64 Lincoln Continental
The 2026 '64 Lincoln Continental brings back a true American icon for collectors who love big land yachts from the past. This model is part of the Cool Classics series, which focuses on vintage designs that defined a specific era of automotive history. As a standard Mainline release, it offers an accessible way to own this classic design without breaking the bank. The car features a low-slung stance and sleek lines that capture the original luxury vehicle's elegance perfectly in miniature form.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast model comes at the traditional 1/64 scale found across most Hot Wheels retail packs. While many premium cars use metal bodies, this version uses plastic construction typical for standard Mainline assortments to keep costs lower. You can expect to find it with a bright Orange or Dark Orange exterior paired with crisp White interior details. The silver base provides a solid foundation. It is an affordable addition to any collection focusing on 1960s luxury sedans.
Questions about the '64 Lincoln Continental
Is the 2026 '64 Lincoln Continental a rare Treasure Hunt?+
No, this car is part of the standard Mainline series. It does not feature any special rarity markings like flame logos or Spectraflame paint. Since it was released in large quantities as part of the regular Cool Classics lineup, you should be able to find it fairly easily at most local retailers.
What color variations exist for this specific car model?+
The 2026 release comes with two primary body paint options. Collectors can look out for an Orange version or a slightly deeper Dark Orange shade. Both versions feature the same White interior details and sit on a silver base, so the main difference is just in how bright that exterior finish appears under light.
Is this Hot Wheels model made of metal or plastic?+
This particular release uses a plastic body rather than diecast metal. While premium models often feature heavy metal construction, standard Mainline cars usually use durable plastics to maintain affordability for casual collectors and children alike.
