The story behind the Custom 2020 Honda e
The Custom 2020 Honda e arrives in 2026 as part of the HW EV series, a collection dedicated to electric vehicles. This Mainline release brings the compact Japanese hatchback into your display case with its distinctive retro-futuristic styling. Designed by Fraser Campbell, the model captures the playful aesthetic of the real car while staying true to Hot Wheels design standards. As a core retail item from 2026, it is designed for accessibility rather than exclusivity. Collectors who enjoy modern electric cars will find this entry appealing because it represents a newer segment of automotive history. The white body contrasts nicely with the black trim and smoked windows. It sits at a standard 1/64 scale, making it perfect for grouping with other Honda or EV models in your collection.
Materials, colors and value
Crafted primarily from plastic base material, this diecast captures the clean lines of the Honda e. The color scheme features a white body paired with black bases and gray tinted windows. Inside, you will find a simple black interior. At a 1/64 scale, it is sized to fit standard display shelves without taking up too much room. Because it is part of the regular Mainline assortment released in 2026, its value remains steady for everyday collectors. It is not limited or rare, so pricing stays accessible compared to chase variants or treasure hunts. This makes it a great entry point into collecting electric vehicle themed Hot Wheels.
