The story behind the '94 Toyota Supra
The '94 Toyota Supra joins the 2026 Hot Wheels lineup as a highly sought after Super Treasure Hunt. This specific casting comes from the Tooned series, which features exaggerated proportions and playful styling that appeal to both casual fans and serious collectors. Designed by Fraser Campbell, this model captures the iconic shape of the legendary Japanese sports car while adding that special limited edition flair. As a Super Treasure Hunt, it is extremely rare compared to standard Mainline releases. You will spot it instantly thanks to its unique Spectraflame paint finish rather than regular enamel or plastic coloring. The flame logo on the base card confirms its exclusive status without needing any extra verification steps.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast model uses a durable plastic body construction typical for the Tooned series line. It arrives in Spectraflame Black, giving it that signature deep red glow under direct light sources. The interior matches with black details, while window options include smoke tinted or gray variations depending on production batches. Measuring at 1/64 scale, it fits perfectly into standard collector displays alongside other Mainline vehicles. Because Super Treasure Hunts are produced in very small quantities relative to the total output, finding one on store shelves is difficult once they sell out quickly.
Questions about the '94 Toyota Supra
How do I know if a '94 Toyota Supra is a real Super Treasure Hunt?+
Look for two key identifiers. First, check the base card near the flame logo to see if it says STH or has the special limited edition marking associated with that year's release program. Second, examine the body paint closely under bright light. Genuine Super Treasure Hunts feature Spectraflame paint which shifts color slightly and appears much deeper than standard solid colors.
Is the 2026 Tooned '94 Toyota Supra valuable for collectors?+
Super Treasure Hunt models generally hold higher value due to their extreme scarcity in retail stores. While exact market prices fluctuate based on condition and packaging, STH cars often command premium resale amounts once they are no longer available in initial wave distributions. Collectors prioritize these items because they represent the hardest finds from any given year's Mainline assortment releases.
What colors can I find for this specific 2026 Supra model?+
The primary body color is Spectraflame Black, which provides that distinctive metallic sheen. The interior components are consistently black across all units found so far. Window treatments vary between smoke tinted and gray options depending on individual manufacturing runs. Always verify the specific variant you want before purchasing since window colors can differ even when the exterior paint remains identical.
