The story behind the Loop Coupe
The Loop Coupe makes a striking return in 2026 as part of the Hot Wheels Legends Tour Themed Multipack. This design was originally created by Alton Takeyasu and carries forward that bold, retro-futuristic energy with its aggressive lines and massive rear wing. While this specific model is not a rare Treasure Hunt or Chase variant, it plays an important role in themed sets that celebrate iconic designs from the brand’s history. The sleek Gloss Black body stands out against vibrant green accents on the base and turquoise-tinted windows, giving each car a dynamic presence right off the shelf. Collectors who appreciate well-designed multipacks will find this release both visually compelling and true to Hot Wheels tradition.
Materials, colors and value
Each Loop Coupe in this set features a plastic body painted Gloss Black with bright green detailing on the base and turquoise-tinted windows for contrast. The interior is finished in gray, matching across all cars in the pack. Built at 1/64 scale, these models are designed to be visually bold while staying true to their original design roots. As part of a themed multipack rather than a standalone release, they do not carry individual rarity status but remain valuable for fans seeking complete collections or display-ready sets.
