The story behind the '84 Mustang SVO
The 2022 Mainline release of the '84 Mustang SVO captures a legendary moment in pony car history with its sharp lines and sporty stance. Designed by Jun Imai, this model stands out immediately because it is part of the highly sought after Super Treasure Hunt category. These special editions are extremely rare finds within regular retail packs. You can spot them instantly thanks to their shimmering Spectraflame paint finish which looks like purple metal under bright lights. This specific casting celebrates a performance era that fans love deeply today.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast model comes in the classic 1/64 scale size and features a durable plastic body shell designed for detailed accuracy despite its material choice. The most striking visual element is undoubtedly the Spectraflame purple paint job covering the entire exterior including the hood scoop area where silver stripes add extra contrast against dark window tinting visible through clear glass panels. Inside sits an all black interior matching perfectly with similarly colored base components underneath everything else providing stability during play or display purposes without detracting from overall aesthetic appeal whatsoever.
