The story behind the Muscle and Blown
The Muscle and Blown model arrived in 2022 as part of the HW Drift series within the standard Mainline assortment. This vehicle stands out significantly because it is a Treasure Hunt release, making it much harder to find than typical retail cars. Designed by Dmitriy Shakhmatov, this aggressive coupe features wide fenders and bold graphics that scream speed. The sleek Glossy Black body contrasts sharply with white decals and distinctive window tints ranging from Chartreuse to Light Lime Green. Collectors hunt for these rare finds marked with a special flame logo on the base card. Finding one still in its original packaging is an exciting challenge since they are produced in limited numbers compared to everyday issues.
Materials, colors and value
Built at a scale of 1/64, this car utilizes a plastic body material typical of Hot Wheels casting lines. It sports a striking Glossy Black finish accented by chrome details and various interior colors including Chrome and ZAMAC metal finishes. The windows feature unique tinting options like Green or Chartreuse to add character under the hood scoop. Because it is a Treasure Hunt model, this car holds higher interest for dedicated collectors who seek out these special limited runs. It serves as an excellent addition for anyone looking to complete their HW Drift series collection from 2022.
