The story behind the THE DARK KNIGHT BATMOBILE
The Dark Knight Batmobile holds a legendary place in diecast history, returning as a Treasure Hunt for the 2022 Mainline series. Designed by Phil Riehlman under SKU HCX94, this aggressive supercar features deep blue metalflake paint that shifts across its angular panels. It is part of the Batman (2022) theme and stands out because it carries the small flame logo on its black base card. While Mainline cars are found at standard retail stores, Treasure Hunts like this one have limited production runs. Collectors hunt for these specific releases to complete their sets or find rare color variations.
Materials, colors and value
This model is built with a plastic body and sits in the classic 1/64 scale used by Hot Wheels worldwide. The paint scheme includes shades of blue, dark blue, and metalflake dark blue combined with clear windows. It rests on a black base that matches its interior details. As an official Treasure Hunt release from 2022, this car is much more sought after than standard retail models. Its rarity status means it holds higher value in the collector community compared to common vehicles released during the same season.
Questions about the THE DARK KNIGHT BATMOBILE
How can I tell if my Batmobile is a Treasure Hunt?+

Who designed this version of the Batmobile?+
Phil Riehlman is credited as the designer for this specific casting and release. He helped shape its unique visual style within the 2022 Batman series lineup under product code HCX94.
