The story behind the Dodge Van
The 2022 Dodge Van from the HW Metro series stands out as a special edition Super Treasure Hunt model designed by Ryu Asada. This van features a racing service theme with detailed 'HW Kart Co.' graphics and sponsor logos on its sides. It is extremely rare compared to standard releases, making it highly sought after by dedicated collectors. The body shows off a unique Spectraflame lilac paint finish that catches the light beautifully. You can spot this specific chase variant because of its shimmering purple hue and distinct decals. This plastic model captures the spirit of kart racing support vehicles in 1/64 scale.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast style casting uses a sturdy plastic base to hold up under handling, though the finish is premium quality. The exterior displays Spectraflame lilac paint alongside standard purple versions depending on specific production runs. Black bases provide contrast for the vibrant body colors. Collectors look closely at window details which include blue and light blue tint variations. Chrome interiors add a nice touch of detail inside the cabin. Because it holds Super Treasure Hunt status, this 2022 release commands higher value than regular Mainline cars.
