The story behind the '71 Lamborghini Miura SV
The '71 Lamborghini Miura SV from the 2022 HW Exotics series is a standout model for any serious Hot Wheels fan. Designed by Phil Riehlman under SKU HCY13, this diecast release captures the aggressive lines of one of history's most iconic supercars. It was produced as a Super Treasure Hunt, which makes it exceptionally rare and highly sought after compared to standard retail cars. These special variants are mixed into regular packs without warning, adding excitement for shoppers who hope to find them. The 1/64 scale casting delivers sharp detailing that honors the classic Italian design while fitting perfectly on modern shelves or track sets.
Materials, colors and value
This specific Super Treasure Hunt model features a base made of plastic finished in Spectraflame Arancio Miura, giving it a deep metallic orange shine unique to these limited editions. The interior and windows are painted in light gray tones for accurate detailing. Collectors value the Spectraflame paint finish because it is distinct from standard gloss or matte colors used on common Mainline cars. This rarity status means the car holds higher interest among hobbyists looking to complete their sets of special releases.
