The story behind the Circle Trucker
The Circle Trucker from 2020 stands out as a special find in the Track Stars assortment. Designed by Jun Imai, this model captures the spirit of vintage racing trucks with its bold number 20 graphics and checkered flag details. It holds a unique status because it is classified as a Treasure Hunt rarity within the standard Mainline series. Collectors scan every case for these hidden gems during the yearly releases. This silver pickup truck features vibrant orange accents on the windows and wheels that pop against the metal body finish. The black base provides a sharp contrast to the bright racing livery applied by Hot Wheels artists. Finding one of these Treasure Hunts adds excitement to any diecast hunt since they are much harder to spot than regular cars.
Materials, colors and value
This specific casting uses a plastic chassis but features a detailed silver paint job that gives it weight and presence on display shelves. The color combination highlights orange windows matching the white and orange wheels, while black accents define the hood stripes and lower body trim. At the standard 1/64 scale size, this truck fits perfectly alongside other modern Hot Wheels releases without taking up too much shelf space. Because of its Treasure Hunt classification, this model carries higher value among fans who seek out limited distribution items from retail packs.
Questions about the Circle Trucker
How do I know if my Circle Trucker is a real Treasure Hunt?+
You can identify the rarity by looking for a small flame logo printed directly on the base of the car. This symbol appears near one end of the chassis and marks it as a special hidden inclusion inside standard retail cases rather than a regular mass-produced model.
Is the 2020 Circle Trucker considered rare today?+
Yes, this car is significantly harder to find than typical Mainline releases. Since it was released as a Treasure Hunt in 2020, fewer units were produced compared to standard cars found on store shelves every year.
What are the exact color details for this model?+
The car features a metallic silver body with black stripes and orange racing numbers. The windows are tinted orange, which matches the distinctive white and orange wheels found on both sides of the vehicle.
