The story behind the BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES
The Batmobile from Batman: The Animated Series returned as a Treasure Hunt in 2019 for Hot Wheels Mainline collectors. Designed by Manson Cheung under SKU FYF90, this sleek black diecast model captures the iconic vehicle’s sharp angles and futuristic design. As part of the limited-edition series, it stands out with its red-tinted windows and detailed interior visible through clear panels. Treasure Hunts are highly sought after due to their rarity and special flame logo on packaging. This 1/64 scale replica is perfect for fans who want a touch of Gotham City in their collection.
Materials, colors and value
This Hot Wheels Batmobile features an all-black plastic body with red-tinted windows and gray interior details. The model includes subtle silver accents like the engine grille, adding contrast without overpowering the classic look. Measuring at 1/64 scale, it fits well within standard display setups or carded collections. Its Treasure Hunt status makes it more valuable than regular releases among collectors. While not mass-produced for general audiences, this release appeals to fans of both Batman and niche Hot Wheels editions.
