The story behind the '17 Acura NSX
The '17 Acura NSX stands out as a true gem from the Factory Fresh series in 2017. This model holds the special status of a Super Treasure Hunt, making it one of the most sought after items for Hot Wheels fans that year. Designed by Ryu Asada and marked with SKU DVC86, this version features the iconic Spectraflame finish that defines top tier collectible releases. The super shiny metallic gold paint catches light beautifully against its sleek sports car shape. Because Super Treasure Hunts are produced in much lower quantities than regular Mainline cars, finding one today requires patience or luck at local stores.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast model captures the aggressive styling of the modern Acura NSX using a durable plastic body shell finished with Spectraflame paint. The finish glows bright yellow gold and is highly reflective compared to standard retail models. It sits on black wheels and includes detailed interior elements in matching dark tones. Various window tints were used during production, including smoke or gray variations inside the cockpit area. Collectors value Super Treasure Hunt versions significantly more than common cars due to their scarcity.
Questions about the '17 Acura NSX
How do I know if my '17 Acura NSX is a real Super Treasure Hunt?+
You can identify this car as an authentic Super Treasure Hunt by checking for the unique Spectraflame paint finish on the body. This special coating creates a shimmering metallic look that standard plastic Mainline cars do not have. Look closely at the base too, since these rare releases often include specific design markers or flame logos to confirm their exclusive status among all other factory models.
Is the 2017 Factory Fresh Acura NSX worth a lot of money?+
Yes, this Super Treasure Hunt version tends to hold higher value than typical Mainline cars released in 2017. Because these limited runs are harder to find now, collectors pay premium prices for them especially when they remain sealed inside original blister packs or show pristine condition without any damage.
How rare is the '17 Acura NSX Spectraflame compared to normal cars?+
This car is significantly rarer than standard retail releases. Super Treasure Hunts appear in very small batches hidden randomly among regular stock at checkout aisles or select stores nationwide during specific windows throughout 2017. Most shoppers never encountered one back then, which keeps current supply tight.
