The story behind the So Plowed
The So Plowed from 2017 stands out as a unique winter-themed entry in the Hot Wheels lineup. Designed by Tony Martino for the HW Snow Stormers series, this vehicle combines rugged utility with serious collectible status. It was released as part of the core Mainline assortment but carries special significance because it is classified as a Treasure Hunt rarity. These limited models are much harder to find than standard releases and hold higher value among fans. The truck features a distinct flat gray body paired with bright blue accents on the chassis and snowplow blade. A standout feature is the chrome gold detailing found inside the cab, in the engine bay components, and along the side of the cargo bed.
Materials, colors and value
Constructed primarily from plastic, this 1/64 scale diecast model captures the look of a heavy-duty winter maintenance vehicle. The specific color combination includes a flat gray body with solid blue bumpers and fender flares to match the large front plow attachment. Inside the cabin, you will see chrome gold windows that reflect light uniquely compared to standard paint jobs. Some variations also feature ZAMAC metal bases or unpainted interiors depending on production runs. Because it is a Treasure Hunt model from 2017, this car tends to be worth significantly more than regular Mainline cars today.
