The story behind the Chevy Silverado
The Chevy Silverado from 2020 stands out as a vibrant entry in the HW Rescue series designed by Fraser Campbell. This specific model holds significant interest because it is classified as a Treasure Hunt, making it much harder to find than standard releases. While most Mainline cars appear frequently on store shelves, this version was rolled into packs with greater scarcity for collectors seeking excitement. Its bright green body features detailed racing graphics and Safety Team branding that give it an urgent look suitable for its theme. The combination of the unique assortment placement and limited availability makes finding one in unopened packaging a special moment.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast replica measures at 1/64 scale and relies on plastic construction to achieve its detailed shape. It sports distinct green paintwork that appears as both standard bright shades and darker variations depending on the specific casting run found. The interior details include chrome accents behind tinted or gray windows, while black bases provide a sturdy foundation for play or display. As a recognized Treasure Hunt item with SKU GHD76, it carries higher value among fans who actively hunt these rare finds within regular cases.
Questions about the Chevy Silverado
How do I know if my Chevy Silverado is the treasure hunt version?+
You can identify this specific release by looking for a small flame logo printed directly on the cardboard backing card behind the car. This special marking indicates it belongs to the limited Treasure Hunt series rather than being part of the standard mass production run released during that same year.
Is the 2020 Chevy Silverado HW Rescue rare?+
Yes, this model is considered quite rare compared to typical Mainline vehicles. Because it carries a Treasure Hunt designation from its original release window in 2020, fewer units were produced overall. Collectors frequently search for these elusive items since they represent the most sought-after finds within the core retail lineup.
What does this Chevy Silverado diecast car usually sell for?+
Values depend heavily on whether you are buying an open card or a sealed package. Opened versions in good condition often trade among enthusiasts at moderate prices, but pristine original packaging tends to fetch significantly higher amounts due to the scarcity associated with its official rarity status.
