The story behind the Custom Camaro
The 2022 RLC Exclusive Custom Camaro represents a major milestone for Hot Wheels collectors worldwide. Designed by Dave Martis with SKU HPJ20, this model was released to celebrate two decades of the Real Line Club membership program. As an official Chase variant, it holds high status within the hobby because these special versions are produced in much smaller quantities than standard releases. The car features a striking Shadowchrome finish that gives it a unique metallic sheen compared to typical retail models. It also sports custom racing graphics and distinct black interior details visible through tinted windows.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast model is built on a solid metal base for durability and weight, matching the premium feel expected from RLC members. The body features a Spectraflame Shadowchrome paint job with contrasting gray accents and bold red stripe decals honoring the club anniversary. It sits at the standard 1/64 scale but commands attention due to its exclusive nature and special finish options not found in regular stores.
