The story behind the Motosaurus
The Motosaurus brings a wild twist to the track as part of the Street Beasts series launched in 2023. Designed by Lindsey Lee, this unique diecast model blends prehistoric style with high-speed energy, making it stand out among standard Hot Wheels releases. Released under SKU HH072, it appeared in the exclusive 5-Pack assortment format, which targets collectors and kids alike who enjoy themed sets. With its bold color options including orange bodies and blue bases, each car delivers a strong visual impact at just 1/64 scale. Its playful design features spiky dorsal fins inspired by ancient reptiles, turning heads on any shelf or play surface.
Materials, colors and value
This model is made entirely of plastic and comes in several color combinations: body shades include Orange, Metallic Orange; base colors are Blue and Navy Blue. At 1/64 scale, it fits well within standard collections while offering a fun alternative to metal-bodied cars. The Motosaurus doesn't carry the same long-term value as rarer editions like Treasure Hunts or Chases, but its inclusion in the Street Beasts line makes it a memorable addition for fans of themed assortments.
