The story behind the Ballistik
The Ballistik arrives in the Hot Wheels universe as a futuristic concept car rooted in the DC Comics Batman theme for 2023. Designed by Alec Tam, this sleek model features an aerodynamic shape that fits perfectly with Gotham City technology vibes. Released under SKU HLK59, it belongs to the specialized Pop Culture category rather than standard Mainline runs, which means fans of comic book themes pay extra attention to these releases. The distinct color combination sets it apart from other Batman vehicles in the lineup.
Materials, colors and value
This diecast model comes in a striking blue finish that includes regular Blue and Anodized Navy Blue variations for collectors seeking specific shades. It features bright yellow accents on the base, wheels, interior, and window components to create high contrast against the dark body panels. Built at the standard 1/64 scale with plastic materials, it balances detailed character graphics with durable construction suitable for daily play or display cases.
