The story behind the Poison Arrow
The Poison Arrow takes flight as part of the Sky Show series in the 2023 Hot Wheels lineup. Designed by Steve Moran, this unique creation blends aviation with the classic diecast spirit found in every Mainline release. The model features a striking silver metal base that supports a transparent blue cockpit and wings, giving it an airy look suitable for its theme. It is not a limited edition Treasure Hunt or Super Treasure Hunt, but rather a standard retail casting available to all fans of the brand. Collectors often enjoy spotting different variations within these large mass-produced runs.
Materials, colors and value
This model rides on a sturdy metal base painted in silver tones that mimic aircraft fuselage materials. The body is cast from transparent blue plastic which allows light to shine through, creating depth and visual interest when displayed under bright lights. Black window details add contrast against the vivid color scheme typical of Steve Moran designs at this scale level. As an item released during regular production cycles since 2013's initial introduction into mainlines globally today it holds modest value primarily driven by condition rather than scarcity alone among casual hobbyists looking complete sets.
